Drummer, audio engineer and coach.
At 14, I started recording my drums, hoping to eventually sound as good as my favorite records.
But frustration quickly set in.
No matter how much time I put in, the sound never matched what I imagined. I spent countless hours on tutorials, plugins, and experimenting.
Sometimes it was too muffled, sometimes too thin, often just disappointing. There were moments I wanted to give up, but I stuck with it.
Today, after almost 20 years on set and in the studio, I've gained extensive experience not only as a drummer but also as an audio engineer, learning from some of the most renowned sound engineers in the USA.
Over the years, I've realized that most successful mixers follow a specific way of thinking—a structure.
From this, I developed my own practical system, which I now share with drummers and musicians.
It's not theoretical, but rather step-by-step, understandable, and applicable.
So you don't have to go through the same detours I did.
